Our family firm was founded in 1985 by Adrián Blasco and Engracia Rey as “Quesería Rey”. They intended to recover preparation of traditional cheeses which were the basis of livestock-farming and gastronomic tradition in Cáceres.

 

At the present time Quesos del Casar SL is ran by the second-generation family member, Mario Blasco Rey, who preserve the essence as excitement as founders did it.

Our commitment to customers is based on compliance with sanitary legislation. Our standards are oriented towards ensuring the traceability of our cheese from livestock to table. Facilities are checked daily to ensure food security of batches of finished cheeses.

SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIAL COMMITMENT

We promote environmental awareness through our protocol for solid and liquid waste management to recycle and reuse the sewage water, cheese whey, plastic and cardboard box, replace the gasoline consumption by liquefied gas and generating solar power.

 

Our engagement with the region is translate into creating direct and indirect employment of more than seventy jobs. The aim of all that is to foster the economic development of rural area.
