Today we are congratulated again for the recognition received yesterday 10/16/2023 during the 29th Casar Torta Week. GRAN CASAR has won the twenty-third tasting competition organized by the Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin with a score of 212 points, 28 points above the next competitor. This new award gives us the award for the fourth time that accredits GRAN CASAR as the best Torta del Casar PDO.

“It is a recognition of our constant concern for the quality of the product and defending a homogeneous product, which is what we pursue in our GRAN CASAR DOP Cake, the brand of the most recognized cheese factory at the national level and its true flagship”. This is how Mario Blasco Rey, managing director of Quesos del Casar, expressed himself after receiving the news of the winning award, also adding his wish that this new award “represents a recognized tribute to my parents for a lifetime dedicated to Torta.”
