Quesos del Casar S.L. has been awarded the Runner-up Prize for the Best Sustainable SME at the 9th edition of the 2025 Cáceres SME of the Year Award, a distinction granted by the Cáceres Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander, in collaboration with the Chamber of Spain and El Periódico Extremadura.
Quesos del Casar S.L. has been awarded the Sustainable SME Accésit in the 9th edition of the SME of the Year Award 2025 in Cáceres, a prize granted by the Cáceres Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander, in collaboration with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and El Periódico Extremadura.
The jury highlighted Quesos del Casar’s commitment to sustainability, responsible production and the crafting of internationally renowned artisanal cheeses, including its goat cheeses and the acclaimed Torta del Casar PDO. These products, available in national and international retailers, continue to strengthen the brand’s presence and reputation.
In this edition, the SME of the Year Award went to Grupo Alba, while the runner-up prizes for Internationalisation, Innovation and Digitalisation, and Training and Employment were awarded to Higos y Derivados Extremeños (Bombones Valcorchero), Modular System Global, and Winning Security, respectively. Together with Quesos del Casar, they all represent the effort, talent, and growth capacity of the business fabric of Cáceres.
