Once again we are celebrating, on Thursday 12th September, the financial institution Unicaja presented us with one of the many prizes awarded during the II Encuentro de la Empresa Extremeña, organised by the ROS Group.

The award was presented by the Territorial Director of Unicaja in Extremadura, Julio Morales, and was collected by Paula Blasco and Lola Moreno, the daughter and wife of Mario Blasco Rey, manager and owner of Quesos del Casar, whose event could not be attended because it coincided with the 2nd edition of the International Cheese Fair ‘Fromago Cheese Experience’ in Zamora, where another award was also collected, the Silver Cincho for our traditional fresh cheese El Abuelo (see news).

With this distinction Unicaja wants to ‘highlight the work of companies in the region and their commitment to economic and sustainable development’, according to Julio Morales during the awards ceremony. He also highlighted Unicaja ‘s commitment ‘especially in our territories of action and in our regions of origin, such as Extremadura’ (see news).
