rel=\"noopener\"><u><strong>Winners of the XXIV Tasting-Competition in the thirtieth edition of the Torta del Casar Week<\/strong><\/u><\/a>, and the award that concerns us in this news, <strong>Gold Espiga in the modality of Torta del Casar in the VI Espiga Award Competition of Protected Designation of Origin Cheeses<\/strong> that has been held within the framework of the <strong>I Agroalimentary Fair Espiga<\/strong> in Badajoz.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;15px&#8221;][vc_column_text]We were unable to attend the prize-giving ceremony due to the fact that both awards coincided in the same week, but it was the director of the <strong>Torta del Casar PDO<\/strong> himself, <strong>Javier Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>, who collected the prize at the ceremony held on Friday 18 October, saying that \u2018it is yet another recognition of a job well done and of the care taken in every detail to preserve authenticity and flavour\u2019.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space
